We offer clear fixed prices for our services with no hidden extras. All prices quoted are inclusive of labour, materials & full certification if applicable.

All prices are dependent on the individual requirements of the job, however a guide to prices is as follows:

Testing & Inspection / Electrical Safety Certificates

1 – 2 bed EICR – £120

3 – 4 bed EICR – £150

5 bed+ EICR – phone for price

HMO EICR – phone for price

Fault Finding

Fault finding – £60 for the first hour, £40 per hour thereafter chargeable in half hour blocks

Installation / Remedial Works

Consumer unit / Fuse box upgrade – £400 inc. materials, labour, NICEIC certification & local building control notification

Downlights – £60 for the first downlight, £45 for subsequent downlights installed at the same time, includes materials & labour

Sockets – £60 for the first socket, £45 for subsequent sockets installed at the same time, includes materials & labour (plain white fittings)

Cooker / Oven Installation – like for like change £60.  New installation from £100.

Electric Shower – like for like changeover £90 labour only, customer to supply shower

Replacement Light Fitting – from £60 dependent on amount of fittings

Call Outs / Minimum Charges

Call Out (Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm) – £60 for the 1st hour, £40 per hour thereafter chargeable in half hour blocks

Call Out (Evenings, Weekends & Bank Holidays) – £90 for the 1st hour, £60 per hour thereafter chargeable in half hour blocks

Rewires

Rewires are individual to the property and homeowners specifications, however to give an idea of cost, we charge approximately £3,000 for an average 3 bed semi-detached rewire.

Our accepted methods of payment are:

  • Cash – on the day of the appointment
  • Credit / Debit card – on the day of the appointment. All of our electricians carry mobile card payment readers for your convenience.
  • Bank transfer – details will be given on request at the time of appointment booking and all payments must be made / cleared on completion of the works.
  • Paypal – pay securely online with a debit or credit card. Our business Paypal details will be given upon booking if requested and all payments must be made / cleared on completion of the works.

In line with many other businesses, since the abolition of the cheque guarantee scheme we NO LONGER accept cheques. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Please note: All services must be paid for prior to, or on completion of the works being carried out. It is company policy not to provide the completed certification relevant to your service until full payment has been received.

Any works over £500 will require a 25% deposit payable 48 hours before work commences.
